Join us as Meet Market Adventures for a thrill-seeking, unforgettable experience at Rawdon, about 1 hour north of Montreal.
Arbraska Rawdon gives you a chance to experience outdoor rock climbing across the Via Ferrata. There four rock climbing walls leading to the top of Mont Pontbriand. At the end of the climb, you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the wonderful landscape nearby.
Equipped with a harness and helmet, you will evolve through different levels of courses, which are adapted to one's age and strength in complete security. Your adventure will start with an obligatory initiation given by trained guides who will explain how to use your cords, carabineers and pulley, as well as how to follow the rules of safety. This equipment will be connected along your stroll to a cable ensuring your safety. Come out and enjoy a delightful afternoon escape with MMA.
We recommend that members have a healthy breakfast / lunch and bring snacks. We're going to have an excellent workout. Please keep in mind that this event can be done by an average person and if you feel too tired at any point, you can always step down, end the adventure, go for a nice walk in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Arbraska park.
What to wear and bring on this adventure:
- Dress for the weather as this is a rain or shine event (we will re-schedule the event if there is any danger to the safety of our members)
- Wear loose comfortable clothing, long pants, jeans or bermuda shorts, running shoes or hiking boots
- Please attach long hair and avoid wearing long earrings
- Bring water, gloves (they could also be purchased for $2 on site), sunscreen, insect repellent and your camera!
The price includes : transportation*, admission, a 15 minute orientation by a trained guide, about 3 hours of Via Ferrata, great fun and laughter with new friends!
* We are organizing carpooling. Please let us know if you need a ride or can offer a ride to another member. We ask the members getting a lift compensate drivers for the gas $7 each. Note: it is also possible to meet us at Rawdon. Please send us an email and let us know.
